Pictures Around the Block

Today I took advantage of the sunny (but very cold) day and took a few pictures around the neighborhood.

A valiant plant not letting anything, even Shelf Fungus, get in its way.

A water droplet clinging onto our Japanese Maple.

Our wonderful mentally challenged neighbor.  She's a sweetheart that everyone in the area looks out for.

My house, and it's poor yard that does not enjoy winter.

No flyers, no sale.  It's been empty for three or four months.

Silly confused plants that think December is a good time to grow.

I took the pictures with Amanda's wonderful Nikon D60.  It's the first time I've ever used a fish-eye lens.  As you can see, I took advantage of my opportunity to use it.
